About The Artist
Beáta Szabó (1981) is a painter and visual artist living and working in Budapest. She creates her works in the triple unity of body, food and magic. She is inspired by experience of the female body as well as the kitchen as an alchemical laboratory. She is interested in viscera, the inside of the body. She depicts food in her body or builds a body from food. For her, magic is a healing science that can be used to remedy social and historical injustices.

About Digital Twin
Digital Twin is a digital based project aimed at presenting a fresh perspective. It is artwork captured digitally in an original location, showcasing the interplay of light on surfaces, that alters the way art is experienced and opening the viewer up to novel ways of seeing. In this digital environment we ask the viewer to slow down and look, to fight against our collective habit to swipe and scroll.
