Artist Statement
Every place acquires centrality if you have something to say and do and it is done with awareness and determination. Do we believe that our work is not sufficiently received by gallery owners, curators, art historians or anyone else managing exhibition spaces? Well, our space is the world, it is outside, outside, even outside conventional circuits. A basement is no less worth than a designated place, and we must be able to be the first critics and curators ourselves. The relationship with the environment, with the landscape, with the human condition emerges, where life, art and experience intertwine and become one.
About Digital Twin
Digital Twin is a digital based project aimed at presenting a fresh perspective. It is artwork captured digitally in an original location, showcasing the interplay of light on surfaces, that alters the way art is experienced and opening the viewer up to novel ways of seeing. In this digital environment we ask the viewer to slow down and look, to fight against our collective habit to swipe and scroll.
