Artist Statement
Working through the 2-D landscape painting tradition, I used paint in a sculpted form to integrate 3-D facsimiles of nature directly into the architectural space. I composed the relief using thick acrylic paint I sculpt during various stages of its drying time. The restaged room with the artist-made relief, represents and equates our entangled relationship with nature and implies an association with its states of flux, upheaval, and regeneration.

About Digital Twin
Digital Twin is a digital based project aimed at presenting a fresh perspective. It is artwork captured digitally in an original location, showcasing the interplay of light on surfaces, that alters the way art is experienced and opening the viewer up to novel ways of seeing. In this digital environment we ask the viewer to slow down and look, to fight against our collective habit to swipe and scroll.
